Whilst reffering to this as being a 'hack' would be stretching things somewhat - since I think it says you can do it in the manual - I've just started double-podding my Senseo coffee maker. Single pods just weren't cutting it for me, frankly. Don't get me wrong, they were nice. But a tad on the weak side for my tastes.
My technique has also evolved, bang in about 1/4 or 1/3 of a cup (depending on the size of cup) of milk into the microwave for twenty seconds to warm the milk before presenting it to the Senseo. The cool thing about the Senseo is the lack of faff requiring or mess resulting compared with proper home made espresso makers.
So, its Sunday morning, the girls are still tucked up in bed, I'm freshly showered, drinking doublepod coffee - about which I'm blogging - whilst listening to my LastFM neighbourhood radio. They just played Duran Duran's Ordinary World and U2's Beautiful Day.
How apt.
