The fact that I'm having to force myself to use Google+ isn't a very good sign. And whenever I check in on my stream all I'm seeing is Facebook Advanced, just without all the Farmville requests. And given that I much don't like nor use Facebook, that's not a net positive experience. And I can't really be bothered with the all the topiary required to keep Circles maintained and tuned. I either want to connect with you or I don't. My personal IO logic circuitry is pretty simple.

And with the UI, I find a cognitive elegance and simplicity with Twitter's uniformly restricted interface. With Google+ it's too rag-bag and random with the variable post length and inline pictures and videos, and I find that too frustrating to skim. So I don't.

If they offered simplified, clipped view of the stream to make it more skimmable and once the incessant spamming and chattering slows down I might give it more time. But I think I'm out for now.
