Yesterday something awesomely mundane took place in my car. I was driving along minding my own business took an incoming call through my car's intergrated bluetooth telephone kit. I glanced at my iPhone and noticed that this was no regular incoming telephone call, it was a Skype call.
I curiously pushed the answer button on my steering wheel and the voice of the Skype caller came through my car's speakers.
MY MIND WAS BLOWN.
Apparently a recent update of the iOS Skype app introduced support for Bluetooth audio, thus enabling the seamless routing of a VoIP call to my car while I was driving through the countryside of Oxfordshire.
A nice way to discover it.
