After installing the excellent plugin, Ultimate Tag Warrior, I spent a couple of hours last night getting both psyhical and mental RSI in the act of manually retro-fitting tags to, thus far, all of this year's posts. Only three and some years left to do. In fact, I doubt I'll retro-fit tags to all 1,700 entries. Only the good ones. Maybe. Hope you like the tag cloud - according to Zeldman, tag clouds are the blog equivalents of the mullet hair style - but I think that they expose a completely different and more usable method of navigation around a site with so many pages as this one.

But I tell you, even though I wrote the bloody stuff in here, I have found the tag cloud actually very informative in terms of conveying the things I mostly bang on about here (for 2005 at any rate) and if I find that useful in a kind of personal meta signature way, then I hope that someone else might, whether they are passing through and just looking for a quick brief or not.

Anyway, I'd be interested to know what you think.
