"All serious conversations gravitate towards philosophy." - Ernest Dimnet

Lately at work I've had this strange fetish for beginning every piece of channel communication with a famous quotation loosely related to the point of the communication. Tacky I know, but that's kinda the whole point of doing it.

So, today I took part in this surreal but amusing e-mail conversation with one of our channel principals, comprising entirely of famous quotations in place of plain old english. The subject was the whereabouts of a long anticipated release of one of our software products, I'm being purposely evasive because it's late, again, he's desperate for an answer because they have a big project pending which is giving them cause for concern. Here's the email thread in top down order, oldest message first for the hard of thinking among you.
