Futurize Now! was released during the dotcom bubble era and was one of the most popular books at the time. Today I checked out their community site and and was sad to discover that it's dead. They changed it from it's initially successful book discussion site to one with a more commercial consulting feel. I recall at the time there was some concern that all the good ideas and comments that had been posted were being put to the commercial use of the consulting business that had grown around the following the book had.
Even the book site seems like its been left untouched for over a year.
Its a shame because the book made a lot of sense but it seems that building communities isn't as easy as it made out.
